Zizi Jewelry is minority, woman and immigrant owned. Founded in 2022, Zizi Jewelry was born out of a desire to create timeless and meaningful jewelry. Inspired by the artful beauty and inevitable importance of jewelry in fashion, and the rich tapestry of global cultures, our founder, Basilia Akuchie, with her impeccable eye for style, and passion for service, set out to design pieces that capture the essence of individuality and elegance. The goal of Zizi Jewelry is to serve and to provide quality wearable art in form of jewelry, so that you can express yourself just the way you like.

Meet The Owner
Nigerian born Houston Tx resident, Basilia Akuchie created Zizi Jewelry to solve one problem. For a long time Basilia sought to find quality affordable jewelry that lasts- won't tarnish, won't break, and won't turn your skin green.
Being a middle child of 6, Basilia was often found in positions of spectating and observing which led to her inquisitive nature and problem solving skills.
Originally pursuing a degree in Nursing, Basilia found herself wanting to create unique pieces of jewelry that uphold individuality and expression, which led to the creation of Zizi Jewelry.
The most important things to Basilia are God, peace of mind, Family and friends. Her favorite things to do are spend time with family and friends, sushi, travel, and fitness.
In her free time, Basilia loves to volunteer at some of her favorite charity organizations, and is a big advocate for community improvement and women empowerment.
